Waking in Indian moccasins

By Montana Expat

Comments about PBS Bridge the Gap to Pine Ridge DVD:

It is so easy to ignore the problems in Indian communities. They are out of sight in isolated areas. They are not encountered in the daily lives of other people. But they live in the US and deserve attention. It was heartbreaking to see how hurt the young grade school boy was at being labeled living in the poorest county in the US. It was calling them "worthless" and not acknowledging some have a culture that make their lives meaningful in spite of low income. Sad, sad.
