Wonderful information!

My husband had seen this many years ago and had talked about it several times. I decided to get it for him as a gift and we both enjoyed it so much. It is good to see real documentation and less speculation.

This series is less well known than some of Burns' other films, but it deserves to be seen.
It is one of the most thorough and moving accounts of the history of Western Expansion and the destruction of Native American cultures.

This series has been overlooked -- but that is a shame because it is a brilliant and beautiful work by one of PBS's best filmmakers. If you like Ric's work -- see this series.
