Comments about PBS American Experience: New York DVD & Book Softcover Save $20:

This series is spectacular. The complex and dramatic story of one of the world's greatest cities, is told in fascinating detail. The films are gorgeous and compelling and somehow comforting. This is one of those series that it is a pleasure to come back to again and again.

the video is truly excellent. One of the only videos I have every watched that gave me a more inside view and perspective to what was going on around me as I live in new york as a child during particular parts documented.
