Terrific show

I watched enthralled when this show aired. There was something so real about these two people and their plight.I was sorry to hear that they broke up years later after all their struggles. They have since both remarried and are happy. They deserve some happiness, as I am sure that the farmers life is not any easier today then it was when this was made.

Ang, it was produced in 1998 so you couldn't have seen it in the 80's. However, I agree that it is compelling viewing.

When I first saw this series on PBS in the 80's it was the type of show everyone in the circles I traveled was buzzing about. A great story for young and old that is certain to pull your heart strings. I think everyone should watch this movie. I know it will win a place in your heart.
