Comments about PBS 10 Buildings that Changed America DVD:

I was hoping to use this DVD to augment my lectures on modern architecture, but doubt that it will be shown in the classroom. It is a sad example of the dumbing down of our culture. How could so little be said about such a rich survey of works?

Informative and entertaining

Comments about PBS 10 Buildings that Changed America DVD:

Each segment contains very useful information about the time period, historical context, and the architect. Although each segment is brief, it achieves remarkable depth. I will use it in teaching a college class on architectural history. At the same time, the visuals and commentary are so interesting that the program flew by. I wish it were a whole series instead of just one program.
