This war was just as important as the revolution. If we would have lost this war we would be singing Hail to the Queen. It's a shame that it does not get as much attention as the rest of the wars this country has been involved in. I would have liked to see a little more information about the battle of north Point.

I enjoyed every minute of it. I really loved the ironclad the way it was presented. The only thing that i was disappointed with was about the invasion of Canada. There was not enough talk about that. But everything else was wonderful.

This view into much unknown history will be helpful to all the students (and their teachers and parents) in knowing about the second war of independence, the burning of the White House, and the writing of the National Anthem. This war is the theme for the National DAR History Essay contest for the upcoming school year and I recommend it highly for background information.
