I recommend anyone to view this Documentary. Superbly acted. Best Documentary I've ever seen. it really puts you in the story as if you had experienced it. It was very moving. Can't wait to watch it again! I would love to see more documentaries done in this fashion. Applause, applause!

Scientific explantions couched in layman's terms provide a clear understanding of the power of Krakatoa. We have early-warning systems in place now which will help, of course. Still, one wonders, when/if another volcano will bring such catastrophe to the earth.

This movie/documentary of Krakatoa's 1883 eruption in Indonesia is SUPERB. The historical and scientific aspects of this horrendous event are presented clearly and effectively. The special effects of the MONSTER waves created by Krakatoa are stunning! The actors, producers, directors, writers... everyone involved in putting this thing together did a masterful job.
If you are interested in volcanoes or the awesome power of earth's natural forces, or you've heard of Krakatoa but don't know anything about it... I HIGHLY recommend this movie.
