As the War in Iraq continues, the first measures of its psychological toll are appearing. A medical study estimates that more than one in seven returning veterans are expected to suffer from major depression, anxiety, or Post Traumatic Stress. For some, the return home can be as painful as war itself. FRONTLINE tells the stories of soldiers who have come home haunted by their experiences and asks whether the government is doing enough to help.

Comments about PBS FRONTLINE: The Soldier's Heart DVD EDITED VERSION:

I purchased this DVD with the intention of distributing it to everyone in my family, especially the ones who thinks the Iraq war is a good thing. This Iraq war is directly related to my depression and excessive alcohol abuse. I never saw combat but did do 6 years in the USAF & 9 months in the ANG. Most folks I know that think this Iraq war is a good thing are not veterans including Georg W Bush & Dick Cheney.
