I was not aware that his great grandfather discovered King Tuts tomb in the 1920s. The restoration is fantastic. Some silk wallcoverings dating back to the 1700s. Some of life's history from this family was incorporated into the series of Downton Abby. The castle is grand from a far vista or approaching on horseback but I wish there was some type of landscape bed at the front door to welcome the guests. People are visiting it from all over the world. It is run much like Biltmore Castle in Ashville, NC to cover the huge costs. Settle back and take your own private tour...
