Excellent, Balanced Account

Increasingly, there is a fight over the legacy of the genocide against the Tutsis. This program, which is a balanced view, presents an excellent overview of one of the terrible horrors of the last century. Indeed, if anything, this account is a little too dispassionate. Highly recommended.

The video clips were VERY helpful in writing a paper for one of my college classes. I will have to either buy or rent the video, but from the clips I saw online, I wish there had been more interviews with survivors like Monique Mujawamariya.

This documentary is revelatory and shocking. It comprehensively discloses human suffering on a massive scale, the rule of political pragmatism over morality, and tragedy that we wish wasn't part of our lives but for which we are all partly responsible through our apathy and inaction.
