Our Price: $14.99

Single DVD

Many mysteries surround her. More mountains, lakes and streams bear her name than any other North American woman. Across the Nation statues have been erected in honor of her memory. This one hour program explores the life of Sacagawea from the rich oral history of the Augadika Shoshoni, Mandan Hidatsa and the Nez Perce Native American tribes, as well as the historical account taken from the journals of the Corps of Discovery.

Comments about PBS The Journey of Sacagawea DVD:

"The Journey of Sacagawea" never ends, it just begins from deep within... the soul of Sacagawea, Shoshoni, touching rainbows, catching the wind... so beautiful, genuine...

Comments about PBS The Journey of Sacagawea DVD:

I studied about the Lewis and Clark expedition but this really put a closer perspective to the journey. As a teenage Indian girl, with child, to guide this group though the vast wilderness of the west, especially the mountains of Idaho, is just amazing. I plan to move to Idaho in the near future and live in the area of the Shoshine and Nez Perce Native American tribes, mostly to do rock hounding, and to visit these people and learn more about them. Of course, following some of the Sacagawea trail is a must. Instead of pushing to a one world order, our genocide was the Native American Indian and they need more of our help then other countries. I currently give to two Native American Indain schools, one in South Dakota (Lakota) and one in Montana (Cheyenne-Crow). Wish more people would help our people. This a must view for all families.
