Comments about PBS Electoral Dysfunction DVD:
I found it entertaining, informative and enlightening. Mo Rocca does a fantastic job of keeping everything fun while making valid points on a topic that could be somewhat dry.
So, anytime you want to step away from bi-partisan bickering and watch something meaningful in politics, this is worth it.
Comments about PBS Electoral Dysfunction DVD:
I found this program illuminating, informative, funny and chilling all at the same time. Mo Rocca is brilliant as a tour guide who leads us on a road trip through America's messy and, in some aspects, dysfunctional voting system. The film is engaging and full of surprises -- such as the story of a woman who mistakenly thought she was banned from voting because she had been convicted of a felony. It's quite moving to see her vote for the first time at the age of 50. Highly recommended both for young people and adults -- really, for anyone who cares about the health of our democracy! And I was impressed that it is thoroughly nonpartisan...no matter which candidate you support, the idea that elections are FAIR and that every vote is counted should matter to all of us, shouldn't it?
