One Man stopped Nuclear War

This PBS Secrets of the Dead film, brought out previously-unknown events that in October 1962, the USSR secretly-sent 4 submarines near Cuba. These submarines had a "Special Weapon" aboard that was a torpedo with the power of the Hiroshima Bomb. The film clearly gives the tensions the crew of one sub was under as its Captain tried to launch the weapon. If it wasn't for his superior saying no, the world as we know it, would of been destroyed.

I think this is a must see. This depicts the true reality of the terror at the height of the Cold War. I was on the edge of my seat.
