My family members and I watched the entire DVD in one sitting. We had lots of dialoge afterwards and have recommended this DVD to other family members and friends.

I had trouble viewing this on my TV. I couldn't get parts II, III or IV to play. Tried on computer and it would stop every few minutes and I would have to stop movie, then move counter to pick up where the movie had ended. I loved the production but had a really hard time getting it to play all parts.

This is an entertaining, thorough, and comprehensive account of the Medici. The best historical Renaissance info I have found on this family. A great resource for art history or Renaissance history buffs. I was teaching an art history class on great artists of the the Renaissance and found this to be the most interesting and accurate account of the Medici. My students loved it and it sparked a lot of interest in Italian Renaissance history.
