I love this CD!. This music is so moving to me. I can listen to it over and over and I never get tried of it. Certain songs such as Battle Cry of Freedom, Lorena and Cheer Boys Cheer are ones that really move me every time I hear them, sometimes I wish they were longer so that I can just linger in that time period. All of Ken Burns' work is great and worth checking out. He is one of the greatest filmakers of our time. I learn so much every time I watch one of his films. I also have his Baseball soundtrack and it is also execllect. I play both of them together quite often. Can't get enough of them. You can't go wrong with this CD.

I bought a CD for myself and then thought about how my husband would love one too, so I bought one for him and I know he will enjoy it so much because we've seen the movie and we both love it. Thank You Ken Burns for making this documentary. I've learned so much more about the history of our nation.
