i love history especially the civil war era.gives captivating insight into the personal and public lives of this amazing couple.ive watched this documentary like 50 times and will continue to do so.it fits right in with all my civil war documentaries.i love it.

Enjoyed watching this documentary/story of these two very important historic figures. Will watch over and over again to gain the insight on what was happening around them and how they reacted. Producers did a wonderful job!

Incredibly Absorbing

This is an awesome program that informs the viewer beyond what is already known about lincoln and gets deep into his personal "feelings" but even more so, Mary's. Put all you think you know about them aside and watch this DVD as if they were just two regular ordinary people. Your heart wont be able to help but to break a little for them at times. You'll definitely come away with a different understanding of Mary for sure.
