learned some new things about egypt, but i did fall asleep watching, and will have to go back and watch again, it might be the commentators voice, or a review of some i already knew, but i will watch again to make sure i got all the facts.

This documentary offers a thorough overview of Ancient Egypt from its beginnings to its decline. It puts names and dynasties in perscpective, while highlighting the most famous and well know rulers and a look into the background to those who brought about the most well known moments in Egyptian history.

As a student of Eygptian history I know that, due to the long span of years involved in just Egypt's Golden Age, it is a real challange to be selective without leaving out crucial elements. This documentary expertly accomplished this task. I'm happy to add it to my collection of Egyptology.
