Excellent production. The musicians are fine athletes as well as fine players. If you enjoy marching bands, this performance is over the top. The stage setting puts you right into the music, versus watching from far away in a grand stand. Precision musicianship at it's best!!!

I FIRST ENCOUNTERED BLAST AT THE LIBRARY WHERE
I CHECKED IT OUT. SOMETHING ABOUT IT INTRIGUED ME SO
I FIGURED I'LL GIVE IT A TRY. ALL I CAN SAY IS
WOW, WHAT A SHOW!!. MY MOM WATCHED WITH ME AND SHE LOVED IT TOO. THE DISC FROM THE LIBRARY WAS DAMAGED SO WE ONLY SAW THE FIRST PROGRAM UNTIL THE INTERMISSION. SO I TRIED TO GO OUT AND FIND A COPY TO BUY. ANYWAY I WENT TO SHOP PBS.COM AND
BOUGHT 2 COPIES ONE FOR ME AND ONE FOR MY SISTER
WATCHING THE PROGRAM JUST MAKES ME FEEL GOOD.
AND THAT'S ALL I CAN SAY EXCEPT I MAY BUY A FEW MORE COPIES SOON. ONE AGAIN THANKS PBS KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK. SINCERELY LAWRENCE BLOOMBERG

They have to be still together! A production like this can not be missed... I had a blast watching this, the grand kids were dancing around the livingroom and marching to the beat. And then the pots and wooden spoons came out, had to turn it up! We loved it!
