These are really fun episodes, with excellent casting and staging, but the sound quality is poor and the program does not include subtitles. Which makes for challenging viewing.

My husband and I also watch them again and again, in fact we have run out of Lewis.Hataway for the time being and have just started to re-watch Morse. We love the character development and relationship of the two detectives and especially the erudition of Sergeant Hathaway- we always learn something new-thank you PBS for not dumbing down your programs.

Faithful watcher from the beginning when Morse was in charge. I watch them over and over always discovering some new element.
Hathaway and Lewis are a great match. Surprising how much Lewis had taken away and learned from Morse.
Thank you PBS for showing such great British mysteries as well as other programmes.
