The charecter Morse becomes established in this episode. From his love of the red jaguar to his passion for classical music, morse is defined by his likes and dislikes. His love of the opera singer Rosalind Calloway, whose voice pulled Morse from a grey place in his life, dies before it can be completed.He shuts his emotions into his head instead of his heart. Very well written and acted. Saw it three time the first week it showed on our TV.
