Was mesmerized by the first season of Sherlock and since we missed season two when first aired on TV, purchased the DVD. Worth the price! Appreciated the extras at the end, showing the making of the series. They do not use special effects the way American movies are done nowadays; more thought-provoking scenarios and reliance upon script. Excellent series and hope they make many more!

Excellent writing and fabulous acting are in store for you when you watch this series. I was hooked ten minutes into the first episode.

Refreshing new characters - excellent stories and plots for present day England.... Sherlock's cany and unbelieveable observaion powers and skill in decuction are breathtaking... Poor Watkins is a 'hoot'! Rapid fire british speech hard to understand at times BUT that's what the sub-titles are for... Great entertainment and so far, can't get enough of it....
