I love to watch Masterpiece Classic it takes you away from the everyday stories on TV. This DVD of Birdsong did'nt disappoint me with it's intriguing love for each other. They both play their parts and made it more believeable. A wonderful video for a rainy day or lonely night. Don't miss it.

...in song, upon a real world. This story is told with unabashed romantic vision, with moments woven in reality's tangible wonder, horror, incomprehensible longing and temptation - justifiably acted upon. Magnificent.

Absolutely wonderful movie. Great performance from Eddie Redmayne and Clémence Poésy can't be any better than that. I like the story.Even is one century ago,came to me in every aspect standing toll, persize, meaningful. I will see this movie over and over, and every time is more beautiful than the last one
