I saw Ocean Giants on PBS and couldn't wait to own the DVD (which also comes with a Blu-Ray disc!). This three-hour documentary series is even better the second time around. It is an incredible blend of science and information with some absolutely stunning footage of dolphins and whales. I loved the global nature of this series, following populations of dolphins and whales from all across the globe. It was interesting to find out how similar populations of these animals can be, even when they are 3000 miles away from each other. I was also pleasantly surprised by the documentary's focus on the people studying and filming the whales. Their excitement really translated to the screen. I would highly recommend this beautifully filmed and wonderfully informative documentary.

We have 2 grandchildren. Age 8 and 5. They both enjoyed watching this film. The rest of the family also enjoyed it.

A little too much sexual info at the beginning of film, even though documentary. My high schoolers thought it was 'funny'. I wanted them to get info but didn't expect it to open the way it did. Otherwise good info.
