I saw the Broadway production. The show was amazing! A great storyline combined with top notch acting, singing, and choreography. Owning the DVD is the next best thing. I guarantee you will watch this over and over!

This wasn't a first choice as I reviewd the evenings choices but since the first choice turned out to be a dud I started flipping channels. I didn't miss much but once I stopped and watched for a few seconds I was hooked. Rock Solid entertainment. And a good example of what we need to do more of in our conversation of healing our nation.

Superb broadway musical with outstanding story and songs - if you like this kind of entertainment, it does not get any better than "Memphis" - you will love this show. You can't beat seeing a show like this live on Broadway, but the production quality and attention to stage/actors/details/etc... on this DVD production are truly outstanding. I saw Memphis on Broadway in August of 2010, and could not be more pleased with this DVD - BUY it NOW!!
