The DVD of Dick Proenneke's times in Alaska is so well produced and filmed. My daughter gave me the DVD Part I, so now I have the complete series and the book. I love his story and will look at the DVDs and book many times.

This DVD is not quite as impressive as the first since it adds on extra footage of Dick Proenneke's chosen life in the Alaskan wilderness by Twin Lakes but it does hold the viewer's interest. It is interesting to hear Proenneke's own words describing his beautiful and sometimes dangerous natural setting as the seasons change. I also bought this DVD a second time, for a friend.
