I fell in love with "Downton Abbey" the first episode of Season 1. Now I've watched Season 2 and anxiously await Season 3!!

Julian Fellows is genius. I love how he paints the picture of each character in simultaneous timeline and creates the best of stories. He created true and wonderful personalities and then found the right actors, who are my new family and new friends.
I gave the series to family for Christmas and got them all invested in the series.
I am a long PBS member and enjoy all types of programs. Le Miserables was my obsession for many a year, and now, with Downton Abby, I may watch a program as I ready for bed, then fall asleep to the marvelous musical score which paints the picture throughout.
So many highlights I could name..but to see the snow circle about Mary and Matthew, you become lost in his look of love for her. His blue eyes are so transparent with what he is feeling, blue glass. Next, the turns of her head are perfect and her dark brown eyes are made soft....ahhh..but the snow flurries are what make it, as they stand in front of that fantastic house, what a perfectly directed moment...it was the most beautiful ending to that segment of their lives...and mine.
