I have all of Lidia's cook books and am not surprised to be enjoying Italy in America. Enjoying her travels through America and especially taking note of deli's etc. where Lidia is interacting with owners and chef's. I travel a lot and plan to make a list of the places she visited and add stops to my itinerary. Her love for all things Italian is contagious and I am not even Italian.

The recipes in this book are so delicious and tasty.
Lidia cooks similar to how my mother and grandmother cooked but her recipes are more refined.

Enjoying Lidia's cookbook!!! Lidia is so interesting not only with her expertise in cooking but also in all the produce from local farmers were she travels. I am excited about learning and preparing some dishes for my family....from this cookbook. I love watching Lidia cooking with her family. This is the BEST!!!

Lidia is so personable on tv I expected more from some of her recipes. I tried several and was not too excited by the outcome. The book however is done beautifully and reading it makes one want to go to the kitchen and cook.
