Comments about PBS Masterpiece: Worricker: Page Eight Blu-ray (U.K. Edition):

I really enjoy movies in which one has to really listen and pay attention to the action. This one is a good one in that respect. Enjoyed to sense of expectation of trust but with just a bit of "maybe" aspect included. The actors were well chosen and did a good job in their portrayals. Politics can be so nasty!!

Comments about PBS Masterpiece: Worricker: Page Eight Blu-ray (U.K. Edition):

As the Brits do so very well, this is a well-written, well-acted and finely-filmed production. Nighy is at his best in it and, while Weisz is, age-wise, an improbable match-up for him, there is enough chemistry between them to give this movie a modest bit of unfulfilled May-December romance. There is some coarse language not included in the version screened by PBS, but don't let this put you off; nothing you don't now hear every day. Five stars from me!
