I loved the movies that preceded the Doc Martin series. Doc Martin plays a quirky physician just like in the series but has a different personality. Well worth watching.

Movies were a surprise

Liked to see the starting of the series Doc Martin even though not the exact same. Martin was nicer here but not the edge. Saw more of the fishing industry of the village of Port Isacc- liked that. Got these as an unexpected bonus so all is good!

While the character of Doc Martin is completely different in the movies than it is in the series the movie is still very funny and well worth watching. If you are a fan of the series just be prepared for something a little different.
