I recommend it. My wife is a teacher and she plans to use portions for instruction in class. The video and book in my opinion correctly documents the war. It is very interesting to see points of view both American and British. Well done. I have watched it a number of times and I lend it to my friends and colleagues.

As a Canadian, why would I want to read or view a historical account of a war written by the unsuccessful invaders. Recognizing that I may be a little bias, I am more than aware that American writers of history tend to, let's say, add some 'fluff' and perhaps substitute opinions for facts. If I want to read 'fluff', I would rather read Canadian 'fluff'. Having to read the American version of world history in high school drove me nuts, the only thing you might assume is correct, are the dates of events - - ? Just a few months ago, I read an account of the War of 1812, written by an American; this is how he said ' we were beaten and could not maintain our our invasion so we ran home with our tails between our legs..-.. ; " They were fortunate to have so few casualties at the time that we decided to put this off and returned home." " 'nuff said !" THANX
