I enjoyed all the inspector Morse mysteries and missed them. I was so happy to see Lewis in these new mysteries, now as an Inspector himself. Hathaway is perfect as his sidekick and together they brilliantly solve many intriguing mysteries. I hadn't been able to see them all and now I can see and enjoy every one of them. I look forward to many more.

The best of the Masterpiece Mystery presentations. The contrast between Lewis and Hathoway and how they view life makes for a very interesting and entertaining story. Plots are complex enough to be entertaining but not so complex to be confusing. I have learned quite a bit from James Hathaway.

This series is well-written, well-performed, and has a soul. The team of Lewis and Hathaway is a winner. We liked in on TV so much we bought the videos so we could see the episodes again.

We watch these over and over again. I hope there are more seasons and that #4 is not the last one.

Even better than the Inspector Morse series, which was excellent.
