From lemurs and mongooses that look like dog-bear-monkey-cat to chameleons who are so narrow they can grab the branch, the viewer enjoys David Attenborough's telling of how all the species interact with each other and among themselves,both on the lush paradise side to the desert side. Meet the pretty bug with a neck sticking in the air to fight enemies. Meet the tiniest hedgehog who has 31 babies at one time. Darwin would have found shangrila in this place.
