I love to watch each episode. I feel as if the people are old friends and I get so involved with the stories of their lives. I love the care they show to each other and the detail of each scene takes me to their time and lives.

This is such a wonderful look into the contrast of life during this period, and becoming acquainted with the people living in the town and the adjacent hamlet drew me right into their lives. I am finding it quite addictive once I start watching one of the discs. Since there are 2 or 3 of the 1-hour shows on each disc, once the first one ends I find myself eager to continue watching the next ones.
