When I first saw the show last yr., I knew I was going to set the DVD for both of the PBS stations I'm lucky to receive. I love all of PBS comedy,drama &mysteries but
This is one I can't wait to see. Martin & Carolyn are excellent actors. I don't why I just pointed out those 2, the whole cast is suburb!!!
I get more nervous every show I watch . afraid that this 5th season will be the end. Maybe we should start a petition to PBS now, ESP. That the baby is born!!!
We have to see him,&lousia & Martin develop into??? A lovely, strong family unit,
don't we?

This past summer, my sister and I returned to England and took a side trip to Port Isaac (Doc Martin's Port Wenn.) We were thrilled to step inside the Pharmacy; walk up the hill to see the Doc's house; the quayside with its lobster pots and Lifeboat station, etc. We were not alone on our sentimental journey, since there were busloads of Germans and Australians also visiting this out-of-the-way village so dear to the hearts of Doc Martin's fans. (BTW, this series has been a great financial asset to the local community who are very friendly, and willing to share their own Doc Martin experiences.)
Now I'll purchase the 4-series DVDs for Christmas and re-live our visit to the quaint little village, made famous by this bumbling doctor who has touched our hearts. Thank you, PBS!

I love the "Doc Martin" series so much I had to also buy Doc Martin "The Movies", which also led to acquiring "Saving Grace", etc.
This was my first introduction to Martin Clunes' talent and he is a gem. Much to my delight, my PBS station is showing the series again, but this series is a must have for my private collection. Thank you to KERA in Dallas. ♥

I was hooked on Downton Abbey until Doc Martin came along. He's a blast! And, Pauline? I could just gobble her up, she's so adorable. I mean, what a cast (really). Each person fits. Now, I want to live in Portwenn.
