This was absolutely spectacular ! The singing was the best of all the Les Miserable casts. I've seen the stage show 3 times and loved it, but none compared to this wonderful group of singers. I bought the DVD the night I saw this on PBS and now am ordering another for my grandson.

The concert is great, but considering my hearing and the importance of the lyrics I will not buy this until it has closed captioning. Considering the millions of dollars spent on this, this lack is inexplicable and shows a certain uncaring for the hard of hearing.

I can hardly ait to get my DVD I haven't seen the whole film yet. What I have seen looks perfectly marvelous. I'm 82 years old.
I first read the book when I was in the 5th grade. I missed the TV showing.

The story itself is breathtaking !

Skip the movie and order this 25th. anniversary concert. No matter how many times I watch the DVD I cry and cannot stop watching it until the very end. The surprise encore at the end of the production is not to be missed! The actors' voices in the stage presentation are beyond comparision to the movie stars'. The stage professionals simply did not need all those movie sets to move their audience. You won't be disappointed!
