I was so intrigued with The Great Famine that I ordered the DVD right after it aired on my local PBS station, KCDT Idaho. I used it with my history class at my school.

It is truly amazing that the whole story has not been told before. We knew of the horror some of the German Russians felt who were left behind but certainly not the magnitude of the injustice.
