Extremely fascinating personal accounts of how this man touched so many people on so many different levels. It not only explores his musical prowess, but also his miriad interests, to depict a man who was completely comfortable outside the box. There's plenty of footage of him playing the piano & he's thrilling to watch.

Although Glenn Gould was a North American and thus could be defined as an "American", it would be nice to indicate clearly that he was a Canadian. He was the greatest musical genius that Canada had ever produced. This is an excellent DVD that every music-lover should have in his or her collection.

I was mesmerized, start to finish.
It humanized the enigma. My only reservation is the presence of the camera following him on long walks in Wainscott, and late nights on the streets of Toronto. Too staged, perhaps.
All in all, a "keeping" DVD.
