A few nice tidbits of information along the way, but not enough to recommend this. I would rather take that hour back.

I have been an avid fan of Nova and Nova ScienceNow going back to the early '70s. Over the years I have viewed with some skepticism attempts of scientists to explain the working of the MIND by means of brain analysis ... and still do to some extent. But I have adjusted my thinking and perception of the human brain and come to see it as a biochemical and biomechanical organ that in ways yet to be fully revealed shows the underpinnings of the human mind. Both my reading and the Nova series have contributed to my education in this area. Thank you for continuing to offer comprehensible and stimulating expositions of scientific achievement. "How does the brain work?" was in the best tradition of Nova shows. Thanks you (again).

This dvd has a wealth of information. It is very informative and helps to understand more on how the brain functions. I encourage all to watch it.
