What an incredible story of courage and sheer determination. How easy we have it today ! These men were true pioneers who showed enduring courage ; loyalty and dire commitment to fulfill their commission exploring the Arctic to collect data that we are still using today to map the course of change in our Northern Hemisphere..In spite of having Personal conflicts in the beginning of their journey, their quest for survival brought these men together in such a way creating a bond that was indestructible to the end. Shame on the military and government for not providing them with necessities to survive when they were alerted of the dire need at hand. Had help arrived in due season, 18 men would not have perished and it which would have guaranteed their survival. Fabulous story and well documented and narrated. A 10 +
