Loved the book and the movie but when it comes from the ones who lived it -- is always the best. Thanks for telling the story in it's true form.

The movie Born Free touched my heart as a child. Elsa's Legacy tells of how it all began, the true life story of Elsa brought to the big screen for all to enjoy and love.

Although this was interesting - and well put together the film fell short of my expectations.
I watched it twice the weekend that it arrived ---It was very short. I wanted to see more of the lion - and learn more about the deaths of the real people - I wanted to know more about what happened back then --- more about the woman star.
This was more about George and his contributions - which as I said was interesting - but not what I thought I was buying.

A documentary showing some of the ethical and personal issues behind the Born Free phenomenon. George Adamson is billed as the true hero but I doubt he would have gotten there without his wife Joy's obsessive love of the lion cub known as Elsa. Key phrases are repeated to the detriment of the overall product.
