Comments about PBS American Masters: Lennon NYC DVD:
How in close to 30 plus years you forget so many things
Comments about PBS American Masters: Lennon NYC DVD:
I was really into John Lennon's work with the Beatles and most of the solo work, but didn't really know a lot of the info presented in this DVD on John's later career. This DVD really explains what John went through in the 70s, as he was battling deportation, getting recruited into the antiwar movement and his separation and reuniting with Yoko. Really interesting and very well done.

Maybe it was the chaos of the times but I didn't know any of this about John Lennon - this was an intimate portrait of him - the interviews with the musicians and of course Yoko Ono were touching. How wonderful he was on this planet for a while - bought copies of this for presents at Christmas. Thank you PBS.
Comments about PBS American Masters: Lennon NYC DVD:
I'm a huge Lennon fan and expected little. But this program connected some dots, and taught me a couple of things about what really happened in this period of Lennon's life. Should have known American Masters would produce a splendid, informative and provoking documentary.
