This is one of the greatest programs ever produced by Nature of an extraordinary elephant matriarch, named Echo, and her family. I have watched it so often on PBS that I decided to buy it. It is beyond desirable and you're going to love it as you will Echo.
I own many of the Nature programs; this is my favorite.

Tonight I saw the story of Echo on PBS's Nova. How moving. At 71 I have long ago known that it is all right for a man to shead a few tears. My wife and I visited Kenya in 1997 and again in 1999. We stayed at the Tortillis Camp in Amboseli for a few days. I wish I had known about Echo and her family at that time. It's a good bet that we saw her because we saw many elephants.

"An Elephant to Remember" is breath taking in so many ways. I just ordered the DVD and will be sharing the story of Echo every chance I get.

It's a must have .....

I watched the Story of Echo twice on PBS and enjoyed it so much I ordered the DVD to give as a gift to a close friend. I knew she would appreciate the faithful, loving care Echo offered her children and her children's children. A wonderful gift to give any caregiver or teacher but especially to a woman who has passed on her knowledge, values and experience in order to enrich the lives future generations of women and men.

One of my favorite Nature shows. Bought this for at Christmas for a gift. My grandchildren watch it over and over again.
