Season 2 DVD

It is 1935. Three years have passed, and as the seasons turn, so too do the machinations of a rising revolution. As a new summer falls upon the foothills of India's Little England, Simla, political tensions reach fever point. With help from the scheming Cynthia (Julie Walters), Ralph faces the most pivotal year of his career. Alice's husband has followed her to India, and Aafrin's ascending career may be in jeopardy.

Indian Summers season 2

Comments about PBS Masterpiece: Indian Summers Season 2 DVD:

This was an excellent series. The acting was superb and the characters complex as we humans are. Enjoyed the truth of the politics of that time, the suppression of India under British rule and the reason why Gandhi opposed violence.I hope another season will be considered.

Comments about PBS Masterpiece: Indian Summers Season 2 DVD:

This is a series that one can enjoy over and over again. The location is part of the depth of this production. So much attention to detail is rare in film these days. Thoroughly entertaining.

I love the complexity of the characters.
