Ive been a history buff for many years, and particularly admire the American Buffalo. My wife and I have been thru Quanah, Texas, and toured Quanah Parkers Star house near Cache, Oklahoma, which sadly is going into ruin. As a retired National Park Service employee, that noble animal is uniquely special to me. Nevertheless its a special story about horrible greed and callousness towards one of Gods amazing creatures. This should be required viewing in schools lest we forget our history. Both the documentary and book are fantastic, so glad I bought the set, and hey, theyre even autographed which makes the book extra special! Great job!
